Access Education Online
The Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and Movement Disorder Clinic is proud to offer free online learning courses. These series of online courses aim to make learning about Parkinson's disease and how to effectively manage it as engaging as possible.
Currently there is one course available: Parkinson's Disease 101. This course has 3 modules, an introduction to the Muhammad Ali Center and an evaluation. The expected duration of the course is 40 minutes and provides and overview of Parkinson's disease, dealing with diagnosis, symptoms and introduction to treatment options. upcoming modules include medication, Deep Brain Stimulation surgery, exercise and nutrition. Inservice Training
This training is for hospital and nursing home staff throughout Arizona on topics that include Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders, management of the Parkinson's patient, and research and treatment updates.
Professional Preceptorship Training
This training is for physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other health care professionals in order to provide better care for people with Parkinson's disease.
