Educational Programs

The MAPC offers educational sessions and seminars for people with Parkinson's disease, their families and carepartners. We also provide advanced training on Parkinson's disease for medical professionals.Expressive Arts

Expressive Arts

Creative activities have been found to have a therapeutic value for people living with Parkinson's disease (PD). The MAPC offers creative workshops that encourage participants to take an artistic journey of discovery, where no artistic skills or experience are required.

Recreation Therapy

Exercise and other leisure activities have been shown to be beneficial for people with Parkinson's disease (PD). In order to meet the individual needs of the movement disorder population, a variety of activities are offered through the MAPC. These activities have been specifically adapted for people with movement disorders and are taught by professionals who have significant knowledge and experience in this area.

Support Groups

There are a variety of support groups held across the Phoenix metropolitan area for people with PD, as well as their families and carepartners. People can meet to share experiences, learn from each other, and meet new friends.
